Clear Tenancy Agreements
All our tenancy agreements are compliant with UK housing law and written in clear, easy-to-understand language. We’ll walk you through the terms before you sign to ensure you feel confident and informed.
Deposit Protection
Your deposit is protected with a government-approved scheme, such as the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) or MyDeposits, in accordance with the Housing Act 2004. You will receive confirmation once it has been secured.
Tenancy Renewals and End-of-Tenancy Support
We’ll notify you well in advance about tenancy renewals and guide you through the process. If you’re moving out, we’ll provide an end-of-tenancy checklist, support with final inspections, and ensure a fair return of your deposit where applicable.

Tenant FAQs
What documents do I need to rent a property?
You’ll typically need:
- Proof of ID (passport or driving licence)
- Proof of income or employment (payslips or bank statements)
- Previous landlord references (if applicable)
- Right to Rent check (required by UK law)
How is my deposit protected?
Your deposit will be registered and protected within 30 days of payment using a government-approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme, such as TDS or MyDeposits. You’ll receive a certificate and prescribed information confirming this.
What is included in the rent?
Rent generally covers the cost of occupying the property. Utilities such as gas, electricity, water, broadband, and Council Tax are usually the tenant’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in your tenancy agreement.
How do I report a repair?
You can report repairs through our online portal, available 24/7. For emergency repairs (e.g. gas leaks or major water leaks), call our dedicated emergency line immediately.
Can I decorate or make changes to the property?
Any changes, including painting or installing fixtures, must be approved in writing by A2B Property Management and the landlord. Please get in touch before making alterations.
How much notice do I need to give to end my tenancy?
The amount of notice you must give depends on the type of tenancy you have and the terms outlined in your tenancy agreement.
How is my rent paid and when is it due?
Rent is usually due monthly, in advance, by standing order or via our secure online portal. Your tenancy agreement will specify the due date.
What happens if I miss a rent payment?
If you’re struggling to pay rent, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue. Repeated missed payments can lead to legal action, so communication is key.
What is a tenancy inspection?
Periodic inspections help ensure the property is well-maintained. You’ll be given at least 24 hours’ notice, and inspections are typically every 3–6 months. We’ll check for maintenance issues and ensure everything is in good condition.
How do I get my deposit back when I move out?
After you move out, we’ll conduct a final inspection. Provided the property is left in good condition and all rent is paid, your deposit will be returned within 10 working days of agreement on deductions, if any.
